In a tense “Weekend Ka Vaar” episode of Bigg Boss 19, host Salman Khan delivered a stern dressing-down to contestant Farrhana Bhatt, drawing parallels to his infamous eviction of Priyanka Jagga from an earlier season. The confrontation, previewed in a promotional clip from the reality series, highlighted Khan’s frustration with Bhatt’s dismissive attitude toward television, a medium he passionately defends.
Viewers tuned in for the customary Saturday showdown, where Khan holds contestants accountable for their in-house missteps. The segment kicked off with him admonishing Neelam Giri and Tanya Mittal for their overly personal jabs during a casual chat. Attention quickly shifted to Bhatt, whom Khan challenged over her repeated declaration of “I’ll never do television.” In Hindi, he pressed: “Farrhana, aap kya bolti rehti ho, aap ki television nahi karungi, yeh kya kar rahi ho aap?” He underscored the irony, noting, “People watch this show because of me, and they’ll get to know people because of me. I’m too embarrassed that people will get to know someone like you because of me.”
Escalating the moment, Khan likened Bhatt’s stance to that of a mismatched participant, declaring the platform unworthy of her ambitions. “This show and this medium are too small for you. You’re free to go, ma’am. Open the gates, guys,” he said, evoking the dramatic flair of past exits. It is unclear if Bhatt will face actual removal or opt for an apology when the full episode airs.

The exchange instantly transported fans back to Bigg Boss 10, when Khan ousted Priyanka Jagga for her abrasive conduct toward fellow housemates and her boastful claim: “Iss show se badi aukaat hai meri” (My worth is bigger than this show). Social media lit up with reactions, amplifying the nostalgia. One viewer posted, “Farrhana deserves a much harsher reprimand.” Another chimed in, “She DESERVES what happened to Priyanka Jagga.” A third observed, “‘You’re free to go, ma’am’ reminds me of ‘Please leave my home’ for some reason, lol.” Yet another noted, “‘Open the door, guys… you’re free to go, ma’am’ had major Priyanka Jagga – please leave my home vibes, but a tamer ending.”
Bhatt’s comments stemmed from earlier tensions. Following her nomination, she targeted Gaurav Khanna, remarking she had never spotted him in any TV roles and probing his professional background. As a self-identified theatre performer, she added, “I’ll never do television because I’m a theatre artiste, and my talent would be wasted in TV shows.” The remark turned derogatory when she wielded “TV actors” as a slur amid a heated clash with Abhishek Bajaj, Ashnoor Kaur, and Gaurav, igniting widespread online criticism.
