Avengers Doomsday 3rd Teaser Surfaces Online: Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen Lead X-Men’s MCU Debut

The upcoming Avengers: Doomsday continues its pattern of unauthorized teaser releases, with a third promotional clip now circulating across digital platforms. Following earlier leaked footage featuring Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, this newest teaser marks the long-awaited introduction of X-Men characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Third Promotional Clip Emerges

Sunday evening saw multiple social media users sharing the unauthorized footage across various platforms. The teaser, apparently recorded on a mobile device during a theatrical screening, depicts the Xavier School for mutants engulfed in flames. Patrick Stewart’s distinctive voice narrates reflections on survival amid conflict. The footage includes scenes of Stewart’s Professor Charles Xavier conversing with Ian McKellen’s Magneto. Brief sequences show Sentinel robots causing destruction, followed by Cyclops delivering what appears to be the most intense optic blast ever captured in cinematic X-Men history.

By Monday morning, numerous accounts had shared enhanced versions using AI upscaling technology, improving the video quality and extracting clearer still images from the footage.

Online Response

Digital audiences have responded enthusiastically to the teaser, with many considering it superior to previous leaked footage featuring Steve Rogers and Thor. The Cyclops sequence has generated particular excitement online, with viewers describing it as surpassing previous interpretations from 20th Century Fox films. Fox held the film rights to X-Men characters after licensing them from Marvel during the 1990s.
