Mumbai: Aasif Sheikh, the veteran actor widely recognized for his portrayal of Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the long-running sitcom Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, continues to reach new professional milestones. According to a report, the actor recently entered the World Book of Records for portraying over 350 distinct characters on the show, a feat that includes more than 35 diverse female roles.
Born in Delhi in 1964, Sheikh’s path to stardom was characterized by a transition from hotel management studies to the theater circles of Mandi House. His television journey began in 1984 with the classic serial Hum Log, while his early cinematic career saw him sharing the screen with legendary actor Dev Anand in the 1991 film Kahan Hai Kanoon. Sheikh currently remains one of the highest-paid television actors, reportedly earning up to ₹80,000 per episode.
