Mumbai: Aamir Khan is purportedly set to marry his long-time partner, Gauri Spratt. This will be the perfectionist’s third marriage, following his previous marriages to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. The couple will wed in a private ceremony at Aamir’s residence, with a limited guest list comprising the families of the future spouses.
Aamir Khan is an influential artist in Indian cinema whose personal relationship dynamics are often a subject of public interest. The couple have known one another for 25 years but became romantically involved in 2024. Later, the actor introduced Gauri to the media as his partner on his 60th birthday. Aamir reportedly feels a sense of stability when he is with Gauri, signaling his deep emotional trust in her. Gauri Spratt also comes from a reputable background; her lineage traces back to her grandfather, Philip Spratt, who was a notable figure during India’s independence movement. She is an independent entrepreneur and currently works with Aamir’s production house.

Reflecting a mutual understanding shared by the two, Aamir was previously married to filmmaker Kiran Rao, with whom he shared 16 years of marriage and a son named Azad. Prior to that, Aamir was married to Reena Dutta for 15 years; citing the challenges of an early marriage, the couple separated in 2001. This marriage gave birth to two children, Ira and Junaid. On the other hand, this will also mark Gauri’s second marriage; she has a seven-year-old son named Quinn with her ex-husband, whose identity has not been disclosed.
Speaking about his relationship with Gauri, Aamir expressed, “Gauri and I are really serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. And we are, you know, we are partners. We are together. Marriage is something, I mean, in my heart, I’m already married to her.”
Even though the actor’s former marriages did not last, he maintains a reciprocal friendship with both of his previous wives. While the marital bonds may have broken, Aamir continues to actively co-parent the children from those relationships.
The low-profile wedding is scheduled to take place on July 5th. The intimate gathering will be attended by the couple’s immediate families, close friends, and relatives.
