Patna: Attackers barged into the place of education and ruthlessly started damaging the premises on a Tuesday night. With this, they severely bruised the guard who was deputed there. The scene where it happened is recognised as one of the centres of renowned teacher Faisal Khan, eponymously known as Khan Sir. The perpetrators were seen in CCTV footage, with the suffering watchman recognising some of the attackers. The guard was taken to the hospital, and following this, the police initiated an investigation.
The founder of the centre, Khan Sir, was quickly communicated with about the act and reached the scene around 11:30 pm. He alleged that the attackers practise anti-social activities. There was initial coverage of bullet shots being fired, but it was later verified that no shots were involved and only the destruction of the coaching centre happened. Khan Sir conveyed that many students passed the Bihar Police Recruitment Exam, and a felicitation event was organised for the successful students. After the event, he was purportedly threatened by some people and was warned that the centre would be “blown up” within two days. Khan Sir also believed that some rival competitors may be involved behind the act, because there were some coaching centres which disagreed with Khan’s affordability in fees for education, but a verified confirmation is yet to come to support his claim.

The Patna SSP conveyed that while investigating, they found some students were also involved in the act of assault and vandalisation of the promotional banners of the centre. A flock of students in support of the teacher Khan Sir has gathered outside the location to protest and condemn the attack. Observing this, the police have heightened their senses and are being deployed heavily at the location.
Khan Sir is known for teaching complex academic concepts in a very simple and relatable language with humour and interesting examples, and he breaks down the topics into simple fragments. More than ten million followers of his YouTube channel look up to him as a great teacher. Khan Sir ranges across various topics such as geopolitics, general studies, and current affairs. An important component of his persona is that he aims to provide education at highly affordable fees, going down to the sum of 200 rupees for some underprivileged students. Recently, he was actively attentive during the NEET paper leak case and also slammed the government for the disastrous failure.
