Jindal Stainless to Invest ₹42,886 Crore in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Jindal Stainless Limited is set to establish a project in Maharashtra with an investment of ₹42,886 crore. This project is expected to generate approximately 15,500 job opportunities, which has been welcomed by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Jindal Stainless Limited’s Chairman, Ratan Jindal, met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the government residence, ‘Sagar’, for a courtesy visit.
During the meeting, Mr. Jindal presented the proposal for the establishment of this project. The production capacity of this plant is expected to be 4 Million tons per annum. Chief Minister Fadnavis acknowledged the trust shown by Jindal Stainless Limited and Ratan Jindal in Maharashtra’s potential. He assured that the state government would provide full support for the successful implementation of this project. Present at the meeting were Dr. P. Anbalagan, Secretary of the Industries Department, senior officials from Jindal Group, and other dignitaries.
