Important news has come to light in Gujarat for the fishermen of Saurashtra. The government of Gujarat has instructed all fishermen not to venture into the sea from Sunday (May 18) until further notice. Apart from this, those fishermen who have already left have been instructed to return immediately.
The state government has issued a circular and instructed that due to bad weather and the blowing of strong winds, all fishing boats should be called back immediately, and fishermen should not venture out to sea until further notice. The fishing boats have been instructed not to issue tokens.
In this matter, the fishermen will have to take action with immediate effect. The district officials have also been instructed to take immediate precautionary measures to prevent damage to the lives and property of fishermen. Moreover, boat owners have also been instructed to park and anchor their boats at proper and safe places.

Meanwhile, a suspicious unidentified boat was seen in the waters of Gujarat, off Jafrabad coast. It is being speculated that these instructions are being given due to the sightings of the unknown boat. Kanhaiyalal Solanki, the President of Boat Association, Jafrabad, said that they spotted an unknown boat 22 nautical miles off the coast of Jafrabad. The boat was moving at high speed, and there were neither any fishing nets on it nor was it coloured. Upon getting suspicious, they tried to stop the boat, but it started sailing away.
After which, they immediately contacted the coastguard, and keeping in mind the seriousness of the situation, the coastguard reached there with a helicopter. Upon the helicopter’s arrival, it seemed that the boat was trying to save itself and started sailing at a fast pace. There were 2 to 3 people on the boat. As of now, due to the sighting of this suspicious and unidentified boat in the sea, investigative agencies have begun a vigorous investigation.
Following Operation Sindoor, security at the air, land, and maritime borders has been increased keeping in mind the actions of Pakistan. On the other hand, these decisions have been taken due to the predictions of bad weather, along with taking into account the security concerns.
