New Delhi : A 25-year-old college student was arrested from Haryana’s Kaithal district last week for allegedly sharing sensitive information with Pakistan’s ISI. During interrogation, it was revealed that the student had travelled to Pakistan via the Kartarpur corridor in November last year. He had then started communicating with ISI operatives, who offered him significant monetary help in exchange for information.
According to police, the student had shared images of Patiala military cantonment. His phone has been seized and sent for forensic testing. His bank transactions are also under scrutiny.

Just days earlier, a 24-year-old native of Uttar Pradesh was arrested in Panipat. The youth, working as a security guard, was held for allegedly providing information to Pakistan. He reportedly received payments through his brother-in-law and a company driver. The arrests come in the aftermath of the India-Pakistan conflict, which ended with a ceasefire on May 10.
