J&K Security Agencies Release Posters Of 3 Suspected Terrorists In Pahalgam Attack, Announce Rs 20 Lakh Reward

New Delhi: In a notable development following the devastating April 22 terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, security agencies have launched a targeted manhunt for three terrorists believed to have orchestrated the incident. Newly released posters featuring the suspects have appeared in various parts of the Shopian district, calling for public assistance in tracing the individuals.
The posters feature the names and images of the three suspects: Adil Hussain Thoker, a local resident of Anantnag, along with Pakistani nationals Ali Bhai (also known as Talha Bhai) and Hashim Musa (alias Suleiman). Authorities have announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh for credible information leading to their capture. Officials have guaranteed full confidentiality for any informant coming forward.
Branded with the message “Terror Free Kashmir”, the posters are part of a broader public outreach aimed at mobilizing citizen cooperation in dismantling terror networks in the region. The April 22 attack, one of the deadliest in recent memory, left 26 dead, including 25 Indian tourists and one Nepali citizen. Gunmen opened fire on civilians at Baisaran meadow, a popular tourist spot located roughly six kilometers from Pahalgam.
In response to the attack, India launched “Operation Sindoor” on May 7, targeting nine terror training facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. This prompted retaliatory strikes from Pakistan, which were met with a swift and large-scale counteroffensive by Indian forces. Security forces are continuing operations across the Kashmir Valley, and officials urge citizens to remain alert and report any suspicious activity, reaffirming that the safety of informants remains a top priority.
The search for the suspects continues, as authorities vow justice for the victims of the Pahalgam tragedy and redouble efforts to root out foreign-sponsored terrorism from Indian soil.
