Operation Sindoor Targeted 9 Terror Camps In Pakistan And PoK

New Delhi: Air Marshal AK Bharti on Monday, while addressing a media briefing, said that India’s fight was against terrorists, and added that it was a pity that Pakistan chose to intervene. “It is a pity that the Pakistani military chose to intervene and that for terrorists, and hence we chose to respond,” he said.

Commenting on Operation Sindoor and how India intercepted and neutralised Pakistani aerial strikes, he added that India’s battle-proven systems stood the test of time. “Another highlight has been the stellar performance of the indigenous air defence system, the Akash system. Putting together and operationalising the potent AD environment has been possible only because of budgetary and policy support from the government of India in the last decade,” Air Marshal AK Bharti said.

Air Marshal AK Bharti also said, “All our military bases, all our systems continue to remain fully operational and ready to undertake any future missions should the need so arise.” He added that the India-Pakistan border tensions was a different kind of warfare and was bound to happen. “God forbid, but if we fight another war, that would be completely different from this one.
