Indian Military Destroys Pakistani Drones In Amritsar, Army Releases Photos Of Pakistani Drone Debris

New Delhi: The Indian Army’s Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI) on Saturday wrote on X that Pakistan’s “blatant escalation” with drone strikes and other munitions continues along India’s western borders.

ADGPI wrote, “In one such incident, today at approximately 5 AM, Multiple enemy armed drones were spotted flying over Khasa Cantt, Amritsar. The hostile drones were instantly engaged and destroyed by our air defence units.” It added that Pakistan’s “blatant attempt” to violate India’s sovereignty and endanger civilians is unacceptable.

The Army also shared that Pakistan launched Byker YIHA III Kamikaze drones in Amritsar, Punjab endangering the residential areas of Punjab. The attempt was thwarted by Army Air Defence guns at 5 AM today, destroying the same in the air.

The Army said, “Pakistan’s blatant attempt to violate India’s sovereignty and endanger civilians is unacceptable.” The Army, it added, will thwart enemy designs.
