
A significant explosion occurred just 20 kilometers from the official residence of Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad, as tensions between India and Pakistan continue to mount.
According to media reports, the escalation follows retaliatory action by Indian forces, who have reportedly neutralized several missiles, including components of Pakistan’s air defense systems. In a major development, India’s military is said to have downed multiple Pakistani fighter aircraft specifically the advanced F-16 and JF-17 jets.
Additionally, the Indian Armed Forces reportedly captured two Pakistani fighter pilots alive. One was apprehended in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, while the other was taken into custody in Akhnoor, a town located in Jammu district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier, Pakistan had launched an offensive using missiles and drones targeting Indian territory in Jammu. However, Indian air defense successfully intercepted and destroyed the incoming threats. In response, India downed three Pakistani fighter jets, including one F-16 and two JF-17s, further intensifying the military standoff.
