Gujarat Man Arrested For Allegedly Breaking Into Seema Haider’s Home, Claims She Practiced ‘Black Magic’ On Him

Noida:  A man from Gujarat was arrested on Saturday evening after he allegedly tried to force his way into the home of Seema Haider in Noida, claiming she had used “black magic” on him. The accused, identified as Tejas Jani, reportedly became violent upon entering the house, attacking Haider before being overpowered by her family.

According to police, Tejas, a resident of Surendranagar district in Gujarat and son of Jayendra Bhai Jani, who lives near the TB Hospital in the area, had traveled by train to New Delhi and then took a bus to reach Seema’s village in Noida. Upon arrival, he allegedly kicked the main door with force and barged into the house. Once inside, he is accused of physically assaulting Seema Haider—reportedly grabbing her by the throat and slapping her multiple times. Distressed by the sudden attack, Seema began screaming, which alerted her family members nearby.

Her relatives rushed to the scene, restrained the attacker, and reportedly began beating him before the police were informed. A large police team soon arrived at the location, taking the accused into custody. During initial interrogation, Tejas claimed that Seema had “done black magic” on him. Police also found several screenshots of Seema on his mobile phone, raising concerns about his mental state and intentions.

Seema Haider, a 32-year-old woman from Pakistan’s Sindh province, entered India illegally via Nepal in 2023 with her children and has since been residing in Greater Noida with her partner Sachin Meena. She contacted the authorities following the attack, prompting an immediate and serious response from the local police.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities evaluate possible charges, including assault, trespassing, and harassment.
