PM Benjamin Netanyahu Dials PM Modi: Assures Full Support To India In Wake Of J&K Terror Attack

New Delhi: In a strong display of international solidarity, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Jordan’s King Abdullah II reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to condemn the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which claimed numerous lives.

On Thursday (April 24), Netanyahu called PM Modi and extended heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families, condemning the attack in the strongest terms. He expressed unwavering support for India in its fight against terrorism. According to Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, PM Modi briefed Netanyahu about the brutal nature of the cross-border assault and reiterated India’s determination to hold the perpetrators and their backers accountable.

“PM @netanyahu of Israel called PM @narendramodi and strongly condemned the terror attack on Indian soil,” Jaiswal wrote on social media. “He expressed solidarity with the people of India and the families of the victims. PM Modi reiterated India’s firm resolve to bring the perpetrators and their supporters to justice.”

In a separate conversation, King Abdullah II of Jordan also condemned the heinous attack and offered his condolences. He emphasized that terrorism must be unequivocally rejected and stated that there can be no justification for such acts.

PM Modi, in response, expressed gratitude for the Jordanian monarch’s support and acknowledged the Indian people’s desire for strict action against those behind the violence.

Jaiswal also confirmed this exchange on social media, stating, “HM @KingAbdullahII of Jordan called PM @narendramodi and strongly condemned the ghastly terror attack. He conveyed sincere condolences at the loss of innocent lives. He said terrorism should be rejected in all its forms and manifestations. PM thanked HM King Abdullah for his solidarity and echoed the sentiments of the Indian people for strong action.”
