Lucknow: India’s aggressive middle-order batter Rinku Singh celebrates his 29th birthday today. He has been receiving congratulatory messages from fellow cricketers, friends and relatives, but the most heartwarming wish came from his fiancée, Priya Saroj, who is also a Member of Parliament.
Priya Saroj shared a beautiful photograph with Rinku on her Instagram account, accompanied by an emotional birthday message. In the picture, Rinku and Priya can be seen standing together inside a temple, reflecting their simplicity. Some of their fans and devotees are also visible standing behind them.
The 28-year-old left-handed batter has represented India in 48 T20 Internationals and two One-Day Internationals. In the IPL, he has played for Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders. Like Rinku, 27-year-old Priya Saroj also hails from Uttar Pradesh. She is a Member of Parliament representing the Samajwadi Party.

Rinku Singh celebrated the day before his birthday, Sunday, with a century in the Ranji Trophy. Playing for Uttar Pradesh against Bihar, he smashed a hundred and remained unbeaten on 109 before losing his wicket at 112 today. His innings included three sixes and eight fours.
