Salman Khan’s YouTube Channel Crosses 30,000 Subscribers: What ‘Being The Salman Khan’ Offers Fans

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s new YouTube channel, Being The Salman Khan, has crossed 30,000 subscribers shortly after its public announcement, giving the actor a fresh digital platform to connect with fans. According to reports published on October 10, the channel had attracted more than 31,000 subscribers, with one report putting the figure at approximately 31,400.
The actor announced his YouTube debut on October 9 through Instagram Stories, sharing an alphabet themed teaser that hinted at a wide range of upcoming content. “Shuru se shuru karte hain… Mera official YouTube channel. A se Z tak sab yahan milega,” he wrote, telling fans that they could expect everything from A to Z.
The channel’s initial videos take a playful approach to Salman’s familiar screen persona. In the uploaded Shorts, the actor appears in two roles an experienced coach demonstrating his style and a student learning the techniques. The videos feature elements of his body language, expressions and mannerisms that audiences have come to associate with his performances.
According to entertainment reports, the channel was created on September 22 and had uploaded 10 Shorts by the time it was announced publicly. One of its early videos, presented as a classroom lesson, shows Salman playing both teacher and student while introducing body parts. The format offers a light hearted departure from conventional celebrity announcements and film promotions.
The response has been swift. Reports said the channel gained around 14,000 subscribers within approximately its first hour of public attention before crossing the 30,000 mark. The figures reflect its early reception, although subscriber numbers can change throughout the day.
Salman’s latest venture is not his first YouTube presence. He launched the Salman Khan Films Music channel in 2020, which features songs from his films and other music releases. The new channel places greater emphasis on the actor himself rather than primarily on film music.
On the professional front, Salman is hosting Bigg Boss 20. He is also expected to appear in Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co starring Chitrangda Singh. The film was previously known as Battle of Galwan, and its revised release date has yet to be announced.
For now, Salman has not confirmed a regular upload schedule or provided a detailed plan for future videos. Whether the channel expands into personal vlogs, behind the scenes footage or longer format content remains uncertain.
With its promising start and an instantly recognisable format, Being The Salman Khan has already attracted considerable attention. The next question is whether the actor can turn that initial curiosity into a lasting digital audience.
