Actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra have announced that they are expecting their second child.
The couple, who welcomed their first child, a daughter named Saraayah, in July 2025, shared the news through a social media post by Kiara. In the photograph, Saraayah is seen holding a tiny white sock, with her small hand supported by both her parents. Accompanying the image, Kiara wrote: “Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude.”
The announcement quickly drew congratulatory messages from fans, friends and members of the film industry.
Kiara and Sidharth first grew close while working together on the 2021 film Shershaah, in which Sidharth portrayed Captain Vikram Batra and Kiara played Dimple Cheema. They kept their relationship largely private before marrying in an intimate ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer on February 7, 2023. Speculation about their romance had circulated since 2020, and in 2022 filmmaker Karan Johar publicly referred to Kiara as Sidharth’s girlfriend on a television show.
Speaking about motherhood in earlier interviews, Kiara has described the experience as transformative, saying she feels like a completely different person and more protective since becoming a parent.
The couple is now preparing to expand their family further with the arrival of their second child.
