According to sources, an IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Dubai made an emergency landing in Rajkot, Gujarat, today after the crew found smoke in the cargo hold. There were 194 passengers on IndiGo aircraft 6E 1452. After landing, they all safely got off the plane. The pilots reported smoke in the cargo compartment of the aircraft to Rajkot airport, which subsequently issued a full emergency declaration.
Smoke was found in the cargo hold portion of an IndiGo flight from Dubai to Mumbai, prompting an emergency landing at Rajkot airport. Diganta Borah, the director of Rajkot airport, stated, “The aircraft landed safely, and all passengers are safe.” IndiGo operates flights to more than 30 international and over 80 domestic locations. It operates the Airbus A320 and A321 series planes and the ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft.
