Apple’s flagship iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are scheduled to be dropped in September of 2026, with notable changes not just in the devices, but also the way Apple launches them. Since 2011, this will be the first time Apple will change it’s release schedule.
In order to not overcomplicate the lineup, instead of dropping as manay as six devices at the same time, Apple will drop the more afordable options next year, the base iPhone 18 and the iPhone 18e, iPhone Air 2 while the Pro, Pro Max, Apple ‘Ultra’ will drop in september.
Whats the cost?
The iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to launch around ₹1,49,900, similar prices to last year, but a price bump cannot be ruled out due to rising ram and storage prices, and Apple’s own bundling of new AI engines, the Apple Intelligence. The physical design is unlikely to change much, with the same body and display size as last year, but new colours are expected including dark cherry, silver, light blue and dark gray. A slightly bigger battery may be possible.
Apple’s main focus this year are going to be the new AI suite and the brand new Apple folding phone, knwn as the ‘Apple Ultra’.
