Mumbai Weather Update: Light Rain Brings Relief Across SoBo, Andheri & Mulund; AQI Stays in Good Category

Mumbai: After an extended period of dry weather, Mumbai witnessed light rainfall in several areas on Saturday, bringing much-needed relief to residents. Localities including South Mumbai (SoBo), Andheri and Mulund experienced brief showers, offering a welcome change in weather conditions.

The rainfall helped bring down temperatures slightly while providing respite from the humid conditions that had prevailed over the past few days.

Cloudy Conditions Persist Across Mumbai

The city continued to witness overcast skies for most of the day, with intermittent light showers reported from multiple neighbourhoods. The cloudy weather indicated favourable conditions for additional rainfall in the coming hours.

Residents across different parts of Mumbai experienced pleasant weather as the rain refreshed the atmosphere following the prolonged wait for widespread precipitation.

Air Quality Remains In Good Category

Despite changing weather conditions, Mumbai’s air quality remained within the good category. The city’s Air Quality Index (AQI) continued to reflect healthy conditions, indicating low levels of air pollution.

The combination of rainfall and favourable atmospheric conditions contributed to maintaining satisfactory air quality across the city.

Weather Conditions Continue To Be Monitored

As weather patterns evolve, authorities continue to monitor rainfall activity and atmospheric conditions across Mumbai. Citizens are advised to stay updated with official weather bulletins for the latest forecasts and any advisories related to changing weather conditions.
