Trump China Trip : Elon Musk’s 6-Year-Old Son ‘Lil X’ Steals Spotlight In Beijing

New York : Elon Musk’s 6-year-old son X Æ A-12, famously known as Lil X, has been resurfacing again on the internet, bringing his unique and eye-catching attire to a Beijing visit with his father. The father-son duo was spotted in the Great Hall of the People, where Chinese Premier Li Qiang greeted top world leaders and business figures gathering for official meetings.

The reason for the attention on the son lies in his outfit, which is culturally rooted in the soil of China, especially the Tiger bag slung beside him. The tiger-head bag is crafted by artisans from a traditional handicraft fashion brand in Guangxi. The significance of the bag appears to be in Chinese folklore, where the tiger is believed to symbolize protection, courage, strength, and good fortune for children. Moreover, the tiger represents bravery and health.

People are acknowledging Lil X’s outfit, complimenting it for honoring local tradition and cultural respect, to which Elon Musk playfully replied in Chinese, “My son is learning Mandarin.” Dressed in dark trousers and a crisp white shirt worn with a light blue Chinese-style embroidered silk vest featuring cultural floral and bird patterns, his father Elon Musk appeared in a classic dark formal suit. It was his son’s accessory which garnered popularity among users of the internet.

According to Chinese media reports, the bag was designed by a handicraft fashion brand, YASTEE, based in Guangxi. Prices reportedly crossed 300 yuan, approximately $44, with demand booming almost instantly as screenshots and clips of Lil X carrying the bag flooded Chinese social platforms. This wasn’t Lil X’s first travel with his father; prior to this, the kid has accompanied him to major events. His presence calms Elon Musk’s stressful political visits.
