Congress Alleges Bhagwant Mann ‘Drunk’ In Assembly, Opposition Seeks Alcohol Test

Chandigarh : Tensions flared in the Punjab Assembly during a special Labour Day session as the Opposition accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of attending the House in a drunk state. Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa intensified the issue by demanding that all MLAs undergo an alcohol meter test.

The Shiromani Akali Dal also launched a sharp attack on the chief minister, releasing videos from the Assembly and levelling serious accusations. After Jakhar, Vijay Sampla said: “It is shocking to learn that the CM came drunk to the state assembly on the Labour Day.”The Speaker intervened repeatedly to restore order as both sides exchanged heated remarks, reflecting the increasingly charged political atmosphere inside the Assembly during the ongoing session.
