Collision in Mirzapur Claims 11 Lives After Truck Loses Control

A devastating road accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur district left at least 11 people dead after a truck reportedly suffered a brake failure, triggering a catastrophic chain collision involving multiple vehicles.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening along a highway stretch descending from a hilly section near the Dramandganj valley. According to preliminary findings, the truck lost control while moving downhill and rammed into another vehicle ahead. The impact set off a chain reaction, with several vehicles colliding in quick succession.
Authorities confirmed that the crash involved multiple vehicles, including trucks and smaller cars. One of the vehicles was crushed between two heavy trucks, while another caught fire following the collision, intensifying the scale of the tragedy.
