Deepika Padukone’s Bold Big Reveal On Dhurandhar 2 Shuts Down Trolls !

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has finally broken her silence on the ongoing speculation about her apparent lack of public reaction to husband Ranveer Singh’s latest film, Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The sequel, which was released in theatres on March 19, has emerged as a major commercial success, earning widespread appreciation from audiences and industry observers, particularly for Ranveer Singh’s powerful performance.
Fans had been speculating why Deepika did not attend the film’s Mumbai screening and had not posted publicly about its positive reception. The discussion intensified after a social media reel questioned whether her silence was intentional or simply being over-analysed.

In response to the reel, Deepika Padukone posted a sharp and humorous reply that quickly went viral. She wrote, “The latter my friend… P.S. I watched it way before any of you did. Now who is the joke on?” Her witty comment put an end to the rumours and drew supportive reactions from fans, with many pointing out that the couple shares a home and she does not need to make public gestures to show her backing.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, one of Bollywood’s most popular couples, got married in 2018 after dating for several years following their first collaboration in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. They have since starred together in films such as Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. The couple welcomed their daughter, Dua, in September 2024.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, is the sequel to the previous year’s Dhurandhar. Aditya Dhar had earlier directed the National Award-winning film Uri: The Surgical Strike. The movie features an ensemble cast that includes Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and a cameo appearance by Yami Gautam. The first part of the franchise also had Akshaye Khanna in a significant role. The film’s soundtrack, including the track Aari Aari composed by Shashwat Sachdev in collaboration with Bombay Rockers, has contributed to its popularity.
