Splitsvilla X6: Yogesh Rawat Accused of Dating Ruru Thakur During the Show
The popular MTV dating reality show Splitsvilla X6 continues to generate buzz among viewers, with recent episodes introducing dramatic twists that have sparked intense online debate.
Contestant Ruru Thakur made a wildcard entry into the villa, positioning herself as Yogesh Rawat’s ex-girlfriend. Yogesh had previously stated on the show that he had ended his relationship with Ruru prior to participating. However, fans are now questioning the timeline, dubbing the situation “pre-planned.”
Leaked pictures and videos from November—shortly before Yogesh entered the show—have circulated widely on social media, showing the pair together. Yogesh maintains that the breakup occurred in October, but the visual evidence has fueled accusations that he was still involved with Ruru while forming a connection on the program.
This has led to significant backlash for Yogesh on social media platforms, where users criticize him for allegedly misleading others and pursuing a new bond despite an ongoing relationship.

In response, Yogesh addressed the claims in a clarification video posted on his YouTube channel. He insisted that his feelings for Akanksha Choudhary were genuine during the show. He explained that Ruru’s surprise appearance disrupted the dynamics and complicated matters for him emotionally.
Akanksha, who had built a connection with Yogesh in the initial phase, described the second half of the show as particularly challenging due to these developments.
Splitsvilla X6 originally split participants into two groups: Pyaar Villa, focused on romance, and Paisa Villa, centered on monetary rewards. The Pyaar Villa lineup included Akanksha Choudhary, Anjali Schmuck, Anisha Shinde, Diksha Pawar, Sadhaaf Shankar, Soundarya Shetty, Simran Khan, Chakshdeep Singh, Yogesh Rawat, Sorab Bedi, Anuj Sharma, Tayne De’Villiers, Ayush Sharma, Harshit Gururani, and Himanshu Arora.
The Paisa Villa featured Keona Walke, Khushi Rawal, Zalak Gohil, Preet Singh, Anushka Ghosh, Asmita Adhikari, Kaira Anu, Niharika Tiwari, Kushal Tanwar (Gullu), Aarav Chugh, Vishu Bajaj, Ayush Jamwal, Gauresh Gujral, Ron Kariappa, Deeptanshu Saini, and Mohit Magotra.
The two villas have since merged into a single group, intensifying interactions and alliances as the competition progresses.
