Robert Pattinson Joins Timothée Chalamet & Zendaya In Dune: Part Three — First-Look Posters Revealed For Denis Villeneuve’s Franchise Finale
The curtain is finally lifting on Dune: Part Three. The makers dropped nine first-look character posters on Monday via social media, offering fans their earliest glimpse at the cast assembled for the concluding chapter of Denis Villeneuve’s celebrated sci-fi saga.
Robert Pattinson Steps In as the Antagonist
While franchise leads Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya return as Paul Atreides and Chani respectively, the announcement generating the most buzz is Robert Pattinson’s entry into the Dune universe. Pattinson is set to portray Scytale, the film’s central antagonist. Warner Bros. also confirmed that Isaach de Bankolé joins the cast as Farok, adding fresh faces to an already formidable ensemble.
Familiar Faces Back for the Finale
Several returning cast members are set to reprise their roles. Rebecca Ferguson returns as Lady Jessica, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides — the latter having made her appearance in Part Two.
Jason Momoa Returns — as a Different Character
Perhaps the most intriguing casting detail involves Jason Momoa, whose character Duncan Idaho met an apparent end in the first installment. Momoa is confirmed to return, this time playing Hayt — a new version of Idaho carrying forward one of Frank Herbert’s most layered narrative threads.
