Pakistani Woman Anchor’s Outburst: “They Shouldn’t Have Withdrawn The Boycott, This Humiliation Wouldn’t Have Happened!”
Colombo: In a one-sided T20 World Cup contest here on Sunday, India registered a crushing victory over Pakistan. After posting 175 runs, India bundled Pakistan out for just 114 in 18 overs, winning the match by 61 runs.
Following the defeat, several former Pakistani players strongly criticised captain Salman Agha and the team’s performance. However, the anger expressed by well-known Pakistani journalist and anchor Huda Shah completely overshadowed all other reactions with her brutally blunt remarks.
India’s Dominance Grows to 8-1
India has already won all eight encounters against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup, leading 8-0. Now, in the T20 World Cup, India’s win-loss record against Pakistan has improved further from 7-1 to 8-1.
“Pakistan’s Players Are Totally Useless”: Huda Shah
Known for her outspoken nature, Huda Shah did not hold back while criticising Pakistan’s Sunday performance. She even said that Pakistan should not have withdrawn the boycott they had earlier announced against playing India, as it would have spared them from such embarrassment.

Huda Shah called the players “useless” and delivered a scathing attack in her own words:
- “There is a limit to shamelessness. What a terrible performance! This Pakistan team has some completely useless players.”
- “You were going to lose anyway, but you should have at least played better. You should have shown some effort while chasing the target. What is this kind of cricket?”
- “We kept hearing that the players practiced batting, bowling and fielding really well. Did they practice to play this badly? I am sure you didn’t practice batting properly at all.”
- “Everyone already knew humiliation was coming. But look at how badly you embarrassed the country. How pathetic you are!”
- “Pakistan should not have withdrawn the boycott against playing India. At least this level of humiliation wouldn’t have happened.”
- “I don’t want to use a particular word for this Pakistan cricket team, but…” (Huda then used an offensive gesture in the video to describe the team).
