Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani Reveal Daughter’s Name as Saraayah
Mumbai – Nearly six months following the arrival of their first child, Bollywood power couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have shared the cherished name of their newborn daughter.
The duo, affectionately known as Sid and Kiara among fans, have chosen Saraayah Malhotra for their little girl.
In a heartfelt social media update, the proud parents unveiled the moniker through a collaborative post that stated: “From our prayers, to our arms (Folded hands emoji) our divine blessing, our princess, Saraayah Malhotra (Sparkles, folded hands, red heart and evil eye emojis) (sic).”
Accompanying the announcement was a tender snapshot capturing the tiny feet of Saraayah, clad in socks, cradled gently in her parents’ hands.
The revelation prompted an outpouring of affection from industry peers. Filmmaker Karan Johar responded promptly, writing, “My love and blessings always….”, followed by a red heart emoji.

The couple’s journey into parenthood became public knowledge last July. On July 16, Sidharth and Kiara confirmed the birth of their daughter, noting that their lives had been irrevocably transformed for the better.
Sidharth, the star of “Shershaah,” marked the occasion with an Instagram post featuring a soft pink graphic. He penned, “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a Baby Girl. KIARA & SIDHARTH (sic),” and included heart, folded hands, and evil eye emojis.
Although the formal disclosure came on July 16, speculation about the baby’s arrival had begun circulating online the previous day, July 15.
Earlier this year, in February, Sidharth and Kiara first hinted at their expanding family with a pregnancy reveal. That post showcased their hands cradling a minuscule knitted sock, captioned: “The greatest gift of our lives…Coming soon (sic).”
As new parents navigating the spotlight, the couple’s updates have resonated deeply with admirers, underscoring the profound joy of this milestone amid their bustling careers.
