Man Booked for Attempting to Murder Relatives Over Property Dispute in Thane

Mumbai : A man has been booked for attempting to murder three of his relatives over a property dispute in Thane district, Maharashtra. The incident occurred on March 23 when the 36-year-old accused allegedly attacked a 19-year-old man, his mother, and his sister with a grinding stone at their residence in the Bhiwandi area.

The victims suffered serious facial and head injuries and are currently receiving treatment at a hospital. Following a complaint from the victims, the Shanti Nagar police station registered an FIR against the accused under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including attempt to murder and voluntarily causing grievous hurt with dangerous weapons.

No arrests have been made so far, and police are continuing their investigation into the case. Authorities are working to gather further details regarding the motive behind the attack.
