Mumbai Police sources indicate that three persons have been picked up from various locations across the city in a discreet operation conducted jointly with local authorities. The detainees reportedly belong to educated backgrounds and affluent families.

Following preliminary questioning in Mumbai, all three have been transferred to the national capital where central agencies are conducting detailed interrogations to establish their potential role in the incident.

Investigators have flagged a particular mobile application that the detained individuals allegedly used to communicate with the primary accused. Authorities suspect this platform may have facilitated coordination or the sharing of critical information related to the attack.

On the evening of November 10, a devastating blast tore through a Hyundai i20 vehicle near the Lal Quila Metro Station, resulting in 15 fatalities and multiple injuries. The explosion’s intensity set several surrounding vehicles ablaze, causing extensive destruction.

Faridabad university faces intense scrutiny

Al Falah University in Faridabad has emerged as a key focus area following the blast. Multiple medical professionals affiliated with the institution have been taken into custody over suspected connections to the terror network being investigated. Authorities have mandated a comprehensive forensic examination of university documentation, with the Enforcement Directorate and allied agencies tasked with probing its financial transactions, PTI sources confirmed.

The university’s central position in what investigators describe as a “white-collar” terror network has created considerable unease among its student body and faculty, PTI reported Monday, citing sources. With examinations currently in progress, many remain on campus out of necessity despite growing apprehension. University authorities are working to sustain normal academic operations and hostel services, though some students have opted to leave for their homes, the sources noted.
