Dharmendra Hospitalized at Breach Candy a Week After Routine Checkup

Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood icon Dharmendra has been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, reports PTI, a week after he was last spotted there for a routine medical visit. The 89-year-old actor’s latest hospitalization has once again drawn concern among his fans, though his family has yet to issue an official statement on his current condition.

Dharmendra’s Health Update

According to sources cited by Media Reports, Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Monday. While exact details about his health remain undisclosed, people close to the actor have maintained that there is no immediate cause for alarm.

One source had earlier clarified that Dharmendra’s hospital visits are part of his regular health regime. “Yes, Dharmendra is at Breach Candy Hospital, but he is absolutely fine. These are routine medical checkups he undergoes from time to time. Fans may have spotted him during one such visit, which created unnecessary worry,” the source told Hindustan Times.

Hema Malini’s Reassurance

Earlier this month, actor-politician Hema Malini had briefly addressed concerns when reporters asked about her husband’s health. She had been seen at the Mumbai airport when a photographer inquired, “Sir kaise hain (how is sir)?” Hema Malini responded with a reassuring hand gesture and a smile, signaling that everything was fine. She also folded her hands in gratitude toward fans for their concern.
