Ahmedabad : Fatal Accident On SG Highway, Car Collied With Truck; 1 Died, 2 Injured
Ahmedabad : A horrific accident took place on the SG Highway in Ahmedabad early this morning. A young man died on the spot, while two others in the car were seriously injured when a car coming from behind collided with a truck parked on the highway near Thaltej Underpass.
An ice cream truck was parked on the road near Thaltej Underpass following technical snag. Meanwhile, a car coming from behind at high speed hit the truck. In this serious accident, the 23-year-old youth Aryan, who was driving the car, suffered serious injuries and was immediately rushed to Sola Civil Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him brought dead. While two other girls in the car, Priyanshi Choksi (22) and Kirti Agarwal (22), also sustained injuries. They have been admitted to a private hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the ice cream truck fled the scene after the incident. As soon as the accident was reported, a police team reached the spot and has initiated legal action to find out the exact reasons behind the accident.’
