Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has called a crucial meeting today to finalize a much-awaited agricultural relief package for the state’s farmers. The high-level meeting, scheduled for 4 PM, will be attended by the Agriculture and Finance Ministers, signaling that an official announcement could be imminent.

The meeting is set to be a decisive step towards providing financial assistance to farmers who have suffered significant crop losses due to unseasonal rains and other natural calamities. Senior officials from the Agriculture, Revenue, and Finance departments will also be present to conduct a final review of the package. The primary agenda is to finalize the formula for aid, eligibility criteria, and financial provisions to ensure that relief can be distributed to farmers quickly and effectively. Sources suggest that the state government may be considering a historic relief package, potentially going beyond standard regulations to provide substantial support.
