Pakistan Allegedly Breaches Ceasefire, Shells Afghan Territory During Turkey Negotiations

The Pakistani military has been accused of breaching a fragile ceasefire by firing projectiles into Afghanistan on Thursday, even as representatives from both nations were engaged in peace negotiations in Turkey.

According to a report by the news agency AFP, an Afghan military source claimed that Pakistan used both light and heavy weapons to target civilian areas. The report also cited local eyewitnesses who stated the shelling lasted for approximately 10 to 15 minutes, undermining the diplomatic efforts underway to reinforce peace between the two neighbors.
