Rohit Sharma stuns everyone with a ‘new look,’ steals the show at cricketers’ award function
Mumbai: For quite some time, discussions had been ongoing about Rohit Sharma’s fitness — the Indian captain who has already retired from nearly 70% of international cricket. Many even speculated that his remaining 30% career would soon come to an end due to fitness issues. However, Rohit surprised everyone by appearing in a new look at the CEAT Awards ceremony.
Rohit Sharma retired from T20 Internationals last year and from Test cricket this year. Now, with the ODI captaincy taken away from him, he has once again become a hot topic of discussion. With the 2027 ODI World Cup still two years away, there’s uncertainty over whether he will continue as just a player in the ODI team in the coming months.
But for now, Rohit has silenced critics by losing weight and focusing more on maintaining his body. He has also slightly changed his facial appearance, and his confident demeanor suggests that he is determined to extend his ODI career till the 2027 World Cup.

At 38 years old, Rohit appears leaner and more impressive than before. As soon as he arrived at the CEAT function, he was seen chatting warmly with Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson.
