Mumbai – Parag Tyagi, husband of the late actress Shefali Jariwala, shared a moving tribute on Instagram, reflecting on her life and legacy following her sudden passing on June 27 at age 42. Known for her iconic role in the 2002 “Kaanta Laga” remix video, Jariwala’s death has left the entertainment industry and fans in mourning.
In his heartfelt post, Tyagi described Jariwala as a woman of depth and grace, far beyond her public persona as the “Kaanta Laga Girl.” He wrote, “Shefali deserves to be remembered by her light,” emphasizing her intentional approach to nurturing her career, mind, body, and soul with quiet strength. Tyagi highlighted her ability to uplift others, noting, “In the chaos of grief, it’s easy to be swept away by noise and speculation. But Shefali deserves to be remembered by her light – By the way she made people feel. By the joy she sparked. By the lives she lifted.”
