Shocking Bihar Murder: Newlywed Kills Husband to Pursue Forbidden Love

In a chilling incident in Bihar’s Aurangabad district, a woman has been arrested for allegedly murdering her husband just 45 days after their wedding, driven by her desire to be with her uncle, with whom she was in love. The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was apprehended by local police following the discovery of her husband’s body in a field in Amauna village, under the jurisdiction of the Bandeya police station.

The investigation revealed that the woman had been in a romantic relationship with her uncle, a fact that her family opposed, leading to her marriage to the victim. Unwilling to accept the arranged union, she allegedly conspired with her uncle to kill her husband. Police reports indicate that the couple staged the murder to appear as a suicide, with the body found hanging from a structure using a saree. However, forensic evidence and inconsistencies in the scene led authorities to uncover the plot.

Mobile phone records and witness statements further corroborated the illicit relationship, showing frequent communication between the woman and her uncle prior to the crime. The uncle, identified as a resident of a nearby village, remains at large, with police actively searching for him. Aurangabad’s District Superintendent of Police, Kumar Rishiraj, told that the case appears to be a calculated act motivated by the woman’s extramarital affair and possibly financial interests, though further details are still under investigation.
