Man Murders Woman By Pushing Her From 5th Floor In Surat Over Affair Dispute

Surat: A shocking incident of murder stemming from an extramarital affair has come to light in Kamrej, Surat. A man named Dhiru Chudasama allegedly killed his married lover, Rasila Chudasama, by pushing her off the fifth floor of an apartment building during a heated argument.

Rasila, who was married to Pravin Chudasama and had a daughter named Tripti, had been in a long-standing affair with Dhiru. Over time, her husband learned about the relationship and left her. Despite this, Rasila and Dhiru continued to meet occasionally.

On June 20, 2025, the couple met at the fifth floor of Shyam Sundar Apartments in Kamrej. What started as a conversation quickly escalated into a serious altercation. In a fit of rage, Dhiru reportedly pushed Rasila from the fifth floor balcony. Realizing she had survived the fall, Dhiru went down to the ground floor, dragged her about 50 meters to a nearby field, and left her there, where she eventually died from her injuries.

Police Investigation and Arrest

On June 21, 2025, local residents informed Kamrej police after discovering a woman’s body in the field. The body was sent for post-mortem, and later identified as Rasila Chudasama by her daughter, Tripti. Tripti informed police about her mother’s affair with Dhiru, which led investigators to trace and arrest him. During questioning, Dhiru confessed to the crime, admitting to the murder during the interrogation.

The case has once again highlighted the tragic consequences that can arise from volatile extramarital relationships. Police continue to investigate the matter further.
