Light Showers and Cloudy Skies Ahead for Mumbai Today

Mumbai, June 21, 2025 – The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted mild rain showers for Mumbai on Saturday, accompanied by predominantly cloudy skies. According to the IMD’s latest weather bulletin, the city and its suburbs can expect light rainfall throughout the day, with temperatures likely to hover between a high of 33°C and a low of 26°C.

The IMD noted that humidity levels are expected to remain high, ranging from 70% to 80%, potentially making conditions feel warmer than the actual temperature. A gentle breeze with wind speeds of 10-15 kmph is also anticipated, offering some relief from the muggy atmosphere. The forecast aligns with the early stages of the monsoon season, which has already brought intermittent showers to the region.

Residents are advised to carry umbrellas or raincoats for their daily commute, as sporadic light rain could occur without warning. The IMD has not issued any severe weather alerts, indicating stable conditions for the city.
