Haryanvi Model’s Killer Arrested: Boyfriend Confesses to Brutal Crime

In a shocking development in Sonipat, Haryana, the murder case of Haryanvi model Sheetal, also known as Simmi Chaudhary, has been resolved with the arrest of her boyfriend, Sunil. The police investigations have confirmed that Sunil was responsible for the brutal killing of the 24-year-old model, whose body was discovered in a canal in Kharkhoda, Sonipat, on June 16, 2025.

Sheetal, a rising star in the Haryanvi music industry, was reported missing after failing to return from a music video shoot in Ahar village, Panipat, on June 14. Her sister, Neha, filed a missing person’s report at the Matlauda Police Station, prompting a swift investigation. The Sonipat police later recovered Sheetal’s body from the Reliance Canal near Khanda village, with visible signs of foul play, including a slit throat. The body was sent to the Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Police suspicions centered on Sunil, who was last seen with Sheetal. Authorities recovered his car from the Delhi Parallel Canal, suggesting an attempt to stage the murder as an accident. During initial interrogations, Sunil confessed to stabbing Sheetal with a knife. He admitted to disposing of the vehicle in the canal to mislead investigators, hoping to pass off the crime as a tragic mishap.
