TV Star Vibhu K Raghav Loses Battle with Stage 4 Cancer

Mumbai, June 3, 2025 – Television actor Vibhu K Raghav, recognized for his role as Saurav in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, passed away on Monday night at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai after a three-year struggle with stage 4 colon cancer. He was in his late 30s, according to reports.
Raghav, who also appeared in Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the Year and the 2016 film Rhythm, was diagnosed with a rare form of colon cancer in 2022. He openly shared his health journey on Instagram, providing regular updates on his treatment and expressing gratitude to his supporters. In a January video blog, he revealed that the cancer had spread to his liver, spine, lungs, and other parts of his body. Despite undergoing four cycles of chemotherapy, Raghav shared in an April 17 Instagram post that the treatment was ineffective, as the cancer continued to progress.
Saumya Tandon, a fellow TV actor and friend, confirmed his passing in an emotional Instagram post on Tuesday morning. “My beautiful friend Vibhu Raghav with angels now. Left us last night. Vibhu you were beautiful. Inside and out,” she wrote. Tandon also shared details of his funeral procession, inviting friends and well-wishers to pay their respects. Raghav is survived by his mother, brother, and sister.
Throughout his battle, Raghav’s transparency about his illness touched many in the television industry and among his fans. His resilience and positive outlook, despite the aggressive nature of his condition, left a lasting impact on those who followed his journey.
